Esteban Curet, 48
Esteban Curet, 48, of Lancaster, Pa. died Friday morning at home. Born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Engenio and Christina Burgos Curet. Esteban was married to Ida Luz Curet for 16 years in September. He worked as an assembly worker at ITT Grinnell for seven years. After Grinnell, he worked for the US Post office as a mail carrier at Willow Valley up until his illness.
Surviving besides his wife are three children: Esteban Curet Jr., Christina Curet, Stephanie Diaz, all of New York City, eight stepchildren: Ivan Pabon, Celeste Pabon, Damaris Holland, Wilfredo Ortiz, Nancy Pabon, Anisia Ortiz, Donny Ortiz, Maria Cabrera,all of Lancaster, eleven grandchildren, six brothers: Engenio Curet of Philadelphia, Diego Curet, of Lancaster, Gabriel Curet, of Lancaster, Dionisio Curet, of Puerto Rico, Jose Curet of Lancaster, and Simon Curet; two sisters: Juana Vigo and Julia Colon of Lancaster. He was preceded in death in death by two brothers: Juan Curet and Luis Curet and a sister: Genevieve Curet.
Funeral Services will be held at the Assembly of Christian Churches, 432 Locust and Pershing Streets, Lancaster, Pa on Sunday Evening at 6:15pm and on Monday from 10:00-12:00noon. Entombment in Conestoga Memorial Park Mausoleum. Flowers will be received or contribution may be made in Esteban’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, Pa. 17604.
