Patricia A. Kubala, 71

Patricia A. Kubala, 71, of 210 Reese Ave., Lancaster, PA, died Monday night at her home. Born in Lancaster, PA she was the daughter of the late James T. and Genevieve Hartl Sheaffer. She was the wife of Andrew G. Kubala for 49 years. Mrs. Kubala was an administrative assistant for the Community Action Program for 26 years and retired in 2005. Patricia was a 1953 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 34, a bowling league and card club. She enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, bus trips, and especially spending time at the beach with her family.

Surviving besides her husband are four daughters: Pamela, wife of Gregory Oleksa of Lancaster, Amy, wife of Bernard Danilowicz of Middletown, Jennifer, wife of David Snoberger, Jr. of Lancaster, Deborah, wife of Timothy Kershner of Strasburg, ten grandchildren, a brother, Thomas Sheaffer of Lancaster, and a sister, Winifred Rambler of Leola.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA on Friday at 11AM. Interment in St. Joseph’s New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. A viewing will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA on Thursday night from 7-9PM with a Christian Prayer Service at 8:30PM. Friday there will be a viewing at St. Anthony Catholic Church from 10-11AM. Flowers will be received or contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O.
