Nancy Jane Ellinger, 91

Nancy Jane (Heisler) Ellinger, 91, of Lancaster County, PA, died of natural causes on January 29, 2026. She was born on September 23, 1934, in Lancaster County to George Heisler and Dorothy (Elslager) Heisler. Nancy married Walter P. Ellinger, Jr, on January 20, 1951. They celebrated 62 years of marriage. Nancy was a homemaker. Nancy and Walter enjoyed traveling during their retirement years until Walter’s death on March 24, 2013.

Nancy is survived by her three daughters Susan Murray (Terry) of Elizabethtown, PA, Dorothy Weidler (Robert), and Audrey Lilley (Mike-deceased). Nancy enjoyed the love of her six grandchildren, as well as her great grandchildren and great great grandchild. Nancy’s parents preceded her in death, as well as a son, Walter P. Ellinger, III, who died on July 20, 1998.

Nancy and her family wish to thank the dedicated staff at Hospice of Mount Joy who provided compassionate and supportive care during Nancy’s final days.
