I met Elsie and Mel when they first moved to Lancaster Pa and came into the office at Mt Calvary where I worked. They were both so happy and sweet and we enjoyed talking about New Jersey where I came from. Elsie was always so positive and loving to my 2 daughters over the years we shared our faith at Mt Calvary. Our whole family will miss her but know she is in paradise with our loving Father. “Miss Elsie” was always so good to my son and I. She lived close and offered to take us to church if our car wouldn’t start. She made me feel welcome at Sunday School on days I didn’t. Miss Elsie ( as my son called her when he was small ) always had something dear to say to us. I had a note ready to send her when I heard of her passing and I am so, so sorry. Family – know she will be missed.

”Us kids” all have fond memories of our families getting together regularly despite being separated by so many miles. We all now appreciate how much effort Aunt Elsie, Uncle Mel, and our parents went to for this to have been made possible.

What a gracious woman was Elsie! I admired her so along with her dear Mel. May she rest in peace in the loving arms of our Savior. May God grant you comfort and peace, also, during this time. Nancy M, church member

I have many fond memories of seeing Aunt Elsie and Uncle Mel and their kids Dave, Bob, Jim, and Jean in Frankenmuth, Michigan, for the Nuechterlein family reunions. We always looked forward to those get togethers and once travelled to New Jersey to visit them at home. Elsie was always so warm and welcoming! She will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family members. I remember special times with Aunt Elsie like going to the special chicken restaurant in Michigan, visiting with her at the farm house in Michigan and many other times for reunions. Aunt Elsie was great at writing notes and cards which were very special to me.

I thank God for the love and great memories I have of all my times with Aunt Elsie. She is definitely a faithful child of God. Thinking of her brings huge smiles to me. Thank you, God, for placing her into my life.
