Sarah “Sally” “Missy” Craig Johnson, 100

Sarah “Sally” “Missy” Craig Johnson, 100, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025, at her home. Born in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman C. Craig D.V.M. and Sarah Decker Craig Barley. Sally was the loving wife of the late Edmund N. Johnson and on June 27, 1947, they married in Chicago, Illinois. Sally was a 1944 JP McCaskey graduate and later went to work at Watt & Shand, later RCA and eventually Bird-In-Hand Farmers Market. Bus trips were often taken to Atlantic City, New Jersey where she found time to enjoy life. Visiting both the Ephrata and Bloomsburg fair as well as traveling to Wildwood, New Jersey.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia J. Hildebrand, Nancy J. Wilson with her significant other Bob Brackbill, and Sharon L. Johnson. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jill M. wife of Matthew Williams, Chris Hildebrand, great grandchildren, Hannah and Lexi Williams, Owen Hildebrand and a sister, E. Amelia Stauffer. Preceding her in passing in addition to her husband, Edmund, and stepfather, Clarence H. Barley, is a son, Jere Raymond Johnson, a son-in-law, Terry L. Hildebrand, brothers- in-law, Anthony and Louis Zangari, James Stauffer and Donald Leaman. Sally was also preceded in death by her siblings, Jane Zangari, Jean Zangari, Norma Leaman, and William Craig.
