Jennifer E. (Kurtz) Weaver, 54

Jennifer E. (Kurtz) Weaver, 54, of Ephrata, passed away following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Barry L. and Gwen D. (Thomas) Kurtz. Jennifer was the wife of the late Virgil R. Weaver, who died in 2024.

Jennifer was a graduate of Pequea Valley High School. She worked for Roechling Medical Lancaster for more than 20 years. Jennifer loved gardening, taking trips to Longwood Gardens, caring for her cats, and was a do-it-yourself crafter.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her brother, Jed O. Kurtz, husband of Vannessa; stepchildren: Mandi Weaver and Virgil S. Weaver, husband of Kaycie; and step-grandchildren: Quinn and Skylar Weaver.

Memorial Services for Jennifer will be held at 3PM, Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received for visitation from 2PM to 3PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jennifer’s memory may be made to FurEver Home Adoption Center.

The family would like to extend their gratefulness to the supervisors at Roeschling Medical Lancaster for their support of Jennifer throughout her illness. Thank you for allowing Jennifer to work as long as she was able. A special thank you to Jennifer’s colleagues for their prayers and words of encouragement. The family would also like to express their gratitude to nurses and staff at Hospice & Community Care for their assistance during Jennifer’s end-of-life journey.
