Anthony A. Johnson-Ortiz, 26
December 01, 2025
Anthony “Ant” Arnaldo Johnson-Ortiz, 26, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2025, in Columbia, Pennsylvania.
Born on April 9, 1999, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Anthony was the son of Jamie Lyn Johnson and Leonel Arnaldo Ortiz. He graduated from Warwick Senior High School in 2018. One of the greatest joys of his life came in March 2020 with the birth of his daughter, Jaylyn Mae Johnson-Ortiz, whom he adored and devoted much of his time to.
For nearly a decade, Anthony worked as a diesel mechanic for KT Graham Inc.; a career he built, not through formal schooling, but through the patient guidance and hands-on teachings of his late grandfather, Gordon Jay Johnson Sr. The two spent countless hours together repairing cars, machines, and diesel vehicles, forming a bond rooted in shared passion and hard work. Anthony continued that legacy in his own life, often spending his free time reconstructing vehicles both on the job and at home.
Anthony had a deep love for his family and friends and enjoyed fishing, fixing up vehicles, and creating lasting memories with his daughter. He was known for his contagious laugh, bright smile, and the unique way he brought warmth and energy into every conversation. Those who knew him will remember his humor, kindness, and the spark he carried with him wherever he went.
Anthony is survived by his beloved daughter, Jaylyn Johnson-Ortiz; his mother, Jamie Johnson; his father, Leonel Ortiz; his siblings, Leonel Ortiz, Dakota Johnson-Ortiz husband of Kylie Johnson-Ortiz and father of Belle Johnson-Ortiz, and Tatyana Ortiz; his maternal uncle, Gordon Johnson Jr.; his paternal aunt, Lindsay Ortiz; his maternal grandmother, Cindy Johnson; and his paternal grandparents, Marta Rodriguez wife of Luis Rodriguez and José Ortiz. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gordon Johnson Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at Lives Changed By Christ (LCBC), 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim, Pennsylvania. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. The service will take place in the West Wing; guests are kindly asked to use the South entrance of the auditorium. Light refreshments and coffee will be offered following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either assistance to Anthony’s funeral expenses or a meal train for Jamie Johnson.
