“The Deli-L Man”
Glenn J. Lippart, 81, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2025, at Moravian Manor. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dollie (Daub) Lippart. He was married 21 years to his beloved wife, Martha J. (Weaver) Lippart.
Glenn was known and loved throughout Lititz, where he proudly owned The Deli-L Delicatessen. Many townspeople who frequented his sub shop came not only for the food, but for the genuine kindness and warmth he shared with everyone who walked through the door. One of his favorite parts of running his business was counting out the old-fashioned penny candy for the kids who eagerly came in with a sweet tooth! A big jokester with a jolly, vibrant personality, Glenn brought humor into every moment and never missed a chance to make someone smile. He was devoted to his entire family and described by one grandson as “PERFECT”. Glenn was always eager to help—whether stranger or friend—and his cheerful, generous spirit was truly infectious. Anyone who met Glenn left just a little better for having known him. His kindness, his laughter, and his unmistakable joy for life will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
In addition to his wife, Martha, Glenn is survived by 3 children: Joseph C. Lippart (Tammy), Carol Anne Lippart (Michael Zalowski), and Tammie Lynne O’Keefe (Sean); 7 grandchildren: Joseph, Jr. (Rebecca), Ryan (Lindsey), Jason (Kaitlin), Matthew, Elizabeth, Patrick, and Colin; 5 great-grandchildren: Lily, Josh, Jonathan, Kaylee, and Ellie (and 1 on the way!); as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by 4 siblings: Mary Martin, Marlin Lippart, Mona Yellets, and Loretta Eshelman.
The family will receive guests from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A brief service and time of sharing will be held at 8 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 11 AM at Willow Street Mennonite Cemetery, 399 E Penn Grant Rd, Willow Street, PA 17584. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Glenn’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, stjude.org, or Moravian Manor Benevolent Fund, 300 W Lemon St, Lititz, PA 17543.
The family encourages you to wear something casual and blue.

To Glenn’s family, I did not know Glenn very well, in fact I only knew him in passing. I was a hospice volunteer visitor at Moravian Manor for some time and had quite a few patients in his wing. When I saw his obituary, I immediately recognized him as the always happy, very nice and welcoming gentleman who would greet everyone with a warm smile and pleasantries. I enjoyed his spirit every time I walked by. Sending my condolences and this story to let you know that even strangers like myself recognized and appreciated his beautiful soul. He made me smile when I was just walking past. Your family was blessed with Glenn as a leader. Praying his spirit lives on through you all.

Dear Martha, Joe, Carol and Tammie:
Was saddened to learn of the passing of your husband and dad. I used to live in Pioneer Woods and got to know your family while living there. My daughters, Stacey and Penny, knew Joe and Carol when they went to L-S High School. I remember Glenn as a caring, loving dad who was kind to everyone. He was devoted to his family. I grieve along with you. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow and bless each of you in the days to come.
Sincerely,
Beverly S. Martin
