Tabitha Michelle Sheffield, 54, of Ephrata passed away at her home on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born in Athens Alabama she was the daughter of the Mary Friend. A homemaker, she deeply cared for her family throughout the years. An avid reader, she enjoyed diving into any novel and enjoyed a good movie. A challenging puzzle was also on Tabitha’s list of favorite things to do. She was an animal lover whose faithful companion Sweet Pea was by her side for many years. Her greatest joy was around the holidays when she was able to spend time with her family and friends.

Surviving are two children, Steven Salzman Jr. husband of Karina, Alexandria “Abby” Salzman, grandchildren, Alexander, Julius, Quinn and Peyton. Also surviving are her siblings, Michael McCarter and Felicia McCarter. Preceding her in death was a sister, Alexandria Sheffield.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
