David A. Eberly, 60
November 15, 2025
David A. Eberly, 60, of Lititz, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at his residence.
Born in Ephrata, PA, he was the son of the late Amos B. and Blanche B. (Sweitzer) Eberly.
Dave was a talented craftsman and dedicated outdoorsman. He spent many years working as a cabinetmaker with Signature Custom Cabinetry. Generous with both his time and his heart, he volunteered regularly at the Hope Mission Food Bank and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Dave had an infectiously kind personality and could make friends through the simplest conversations. He was profoundly grateful for the people in his life and never missed a chance to remind them of it. He spread an abundance of love throughout his life.
Dave found great joy in nature and spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. He was a member of the Northern Lancaster County Game & Fish Organization and had a special love for Hemlock archery. A skilled woodworker, he enjoyed creating anything from wood and took pride in crafting hunting knives from deer antlers. He also loved visiting flea markets in search of unique treasures.
Above all, Dave cherished his grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of his life. Nothing made him happier than spending time with them.
He is survived by his son, whom he was most proud of, Justin and daughter in ‘love’ Kelly Eberly; his grandchildren, Drake and Amelia; his loyal dog and best buddy, Ruger; his siblings, Leah (Dave) Mallow, Mary (Dean) Kegerrers, Lois (Chad) Alspaugh, and John (Melody) Eberly; and his sister-in-law, Tracey Eberly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Titus Eberly.
Friends and family will be received from 10–11 AM on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Dave’s name to the Hope Mission Food Bank.
