Mary Elizabeth Shinefuss, 86

Mary E. Shinefuss, 86, of Felton, DE, formerly of Lancaster, PA passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Sherman Bouder Sr., and Emma E. (Showalter) Bouder. She was wife of the late Charles R. Shinefuss III who passed away in 2018.

She worked for the former Fidelity Electric Co. Later in life she was a babysitter for numerous children. Mary was involved at the Frederica Senior Center and enjoyed seek & find puzzles.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tracy Crisco wife of Tim of Felton, DE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by siblings: Shirley Michael, Sherman S. Bouder, Jr., Rosa Kleinhaus and Charles J. Bouder, Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 12PM on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Family and friends will be received from 6-8PM on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at the funeral home and again from 11AM-12PM at the funeral home on Saturday. Interment will follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025, at 12PM at Frederica Senior Center, 216 Market St, Frederica, DE 19946. Family and friends will be received from 11AM-12PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s memory may be made to the First State Animal Center & SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934 or the Frederica Senior Center at the above address.
