John D. Radicone Jr., 78

October 11, 2025

John D. Radicone Jr., 78, of Lititz, was welcomed into the open arms of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at his residence. Born in Queens, New York he was the son of the late John D. Sr. and Fay Castellano Radicone. John was the loving husband of Ann Marie McHale Radicone, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage this past June. He was a faithful member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and was a past grand knight and longtime member of Knights of Columbus, St. John Neumann, Council 12532.

John proudly graduated from Delehanty High School in 1964 and later went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree from New York Institute of Technology. John served in the United States Army National Guard for 7 years. As a young man, he and his wife traveled to Colombia to adopt their children, John and Jeanne. John also worked in sales through Pitney Bowes. In the later part of his career, he was the head of maintenance for St. Catherine of Siena and Immaculata College. He spent his “retirement” working at Saint Joseph’s University. John was known for his kindness, work ethic, and generosity, and was continuously serving others. He was a true renaissance man who could fix anything. More than anything, John had a deep love for his faith and family. He took pilgrimages to Medjugorje and the Dominican Republic serving alongside Father Reverend Dan Powell. John mentored many people over the years and made a lasting impact in the lives of others. His family will remember family gatherings, and many trips to the shore and Disney where countless memories were created.

In addition to his beloved wife Ann Marie, he is survived by his children, John D. Radicone III and Jeanne, wife of Tim Curry; seven treasured grandsons—Alexander, Jeremiah, and Jesse Radicone; Mateo, Tomas, Santiago, and Julian Curry; and his sister Joanne, wife of William Varrichio.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a time of viewing and visitation at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543, on Friday October 17, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM. Condolences to the Family

October 15, 2025

John was a wonderful friendly man and a terrific neighbor. When my late spouse and I moved to Lititz, he made us feel most welcome. It was great having a fellow Queens/New Yorker as a neighbor and friend. Both he and his wife Ann were so kind to me when my spouse passed. Wishing Ann comfort and peace knowing the great guy she was married to. Thank you John and Ann for your friendship and my condolences to you and your family.

I often saw John patrolling the halls of the college. He would always stop at our station, show love and respect, and never leave without sharing a laugh. John will greatly be missed. I pray for those with heavy hearts doing this difficult time. Rosa Marti

I remember him from attending all 3 of my Granchildren’s baptism where on behalf of the Kof C and formally  dressed in a suit. He presented my son and his wife with a rose to congratulate them and signify the treasure of life. What a nice memory. God bless him and his family . Pete Scherer

I’m so sorry. I’ve missed having him as a neighbor since he moved several years ago. He was a sweet man. We always had pleasant conversations each time we’d meet outside our front doors. May his memory be a blessing. Harvey Scolnick

Ann, John, and Jeanne,
I just want to extend my sincere condolences and sympathies to all of you at this difficult time.  Your husband and father was a good person.  I recall not only his involvement with St. Carharine’s; but that of all of you.  I remember your father as a very kind person and family man.  Again my condolences to all of you. John was more than a great friend, he was family.  He always told me that anything I needed he would do for me.  He repainted my St Joseph that sits outside my front door.  Everytime I look at it I will remember John with love. My love to Ann and his family.  He will never be forgotten. Debbie Keller

John you will be dearly missed. I have been your hairdresser for at least 25 years and we have had so many great conversations over those times. I was glad to be able to cut your hair last Friday before you passed. I know you’ll be welcomed into God’s arms. You were such a faithful servant for him. I wish you eternal rest.Donna Hoover
