Sally A. Helm, 76, of Mount Joy passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Sara (Newcomer) and late John Yohn married to Dorothy Yohn. Sally was the loving wife of the late Dennis R. Helm. Through the years she worked for Playschool, Conestoga View, K-Mart, and lastly, The Long Home, Lancaster.

Those that loved her most knew her as Mom or Nanny. A woman of deep faith, Sally took great pride in caring for her family over many decades. She lovingly babysat her grandchildren, prepared countless home-cooked meals, and imparted invaluable life lessons through her years of devotion. Sally will be fondly remembered for her genuine and kind soul, her love of the color purple, and her witty sense of humor.

Surviving are her sister, Connie Hearn; two sons, John Helm, married to Teresa, and Jason Helm; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Helm, and her sister, Vicki Kitch.
