Sharron T. Eckel, 82, of Quarryville, PA, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. Born in Drumore, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jessie (Kilby) Testerman. She was the loving wife to the late Karl Eckel who passed away in 2008.

Sharron was a floral designer and educator. She owned The Lotus Pod, a silk flower design boutique in Lancaster. She enjoyed art, especially making and collecting pottery. She was an avid reader and golfer. She liked to do interior designing. Sharron was a member of Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and Deacon. She volunteered at Landis Homes Senior Living Community and Lancaster General Hospital.

Surviving is a son, David Eckel, husband of Allison; a daughter, Jennifer Eckel; 2 grandchildren: Thomas and Lillian Eckel; 4 siblings: Duane Testerman, husband of Mary, Darryle Testerman, husband of Delores, Carol Williams and Cynthia Albenzi, wife of Michael.

Sharron was preceded in death by 2 siblings: Ronald Keith Testerman and Janet Graeff.

A viewing will take place from 6-8 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. On Saturday, October 11, friends will be received from 10-11 AM with a Memorial Service to begin at 11 AM followed by a reception with refreshments at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church, 1068 Chestnut Level Rd, Quarryville, PA 17566. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
