Phillip Michael “Mike” Edwards, 39
September 17, 2025
Phillip Michael “Mike” Edwards, 39, of Lancaster, and formerly of Chester County, passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2025 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of Steven Edwards (Deborah) and Linda Wilson Edwards (Jeffrey). He was married 10 years to his beloved husband, Adam M. Dickinson.
Mike was a graduate of Henderson High School. After many years serving the community through emergency roles, including as an EMT and as both a dispatcher and intelligence analyst for the Pennsylvania State Police, he chose to become a self-employed business owner. Mike founded Blossom Hill 1775 Antiques in Lancaster County, specializing in early American antiques and furniture. Antiques were more than just a job for Mike; they were his passion. He was also a history buff and enjoyed learning about the Civil War, participating in reenactments, attending Lancaster County mud sales and auctions, and researching historical items local to Lancaster and Chester Counties. He and Adam travelled extensively, with his favorites being Charleston and Ireland. Mike will be affectionately remembered as a loving, funny, entertaining, giving, and patriotic man.
In addition to his husband and parents, Mike is survived by 2 siblings: Robert Edwards (Deandra) and Amanda Edwards; nieces Evelyn and Cora, and his beloved cat Sadie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 6 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests from 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in Memory of Mike Edwards to Drayton Hall Preservation Trust, 3380 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414, or online at www.draytonhall.org/give.
