Edmund C. Milukas, 96
August 25, 2025
Edmund C. Milukas, 96, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, August 25, 2025. Born in Mahanoy City, he was the son of the late Barney and Mary Milukas. He was also the devoted husband of Dorothy Milukas for over 70 years, until her passing last year.
Edmund spent over 40 years as a supervisor of Armstrong World Industries prior to his retirement in 1987. Outside of work, he enjoyed reading, traveling to San Diego with Dorothy, and polka dancing. Music was also a large part of his life, ranging from big bands to more contemporary artists. He also took great pride in his roots, both attending and organizing Lithuanian festivals and reunions for his high school graduating class. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, making sure to include them in his adventures whenever and wherever he could, including traveling and attending sporting events.
Edmund is preceded by his wife Dorothy; grandson Jay Kreider; and his 8 siblings. He is survived by his children, Sandra (wife of Robert) Thompson, Lori (wife of Richard) Keller, and Edmund Milukas II (husband of Connie King) all of Lancaster; grandchildren Nicole Thompson, William Keller, Justina Keller-Avery, and Avalon Milukas; and a great-grandson Calum Avery.
Friends and family will be welcomed on Friday, September 12, 2025 from 10-11AM at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home and Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pk., Willow Street, PA 17584. A memorial service will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Hospice and Community Care.

Condolences to the Family

I was so very sad to see that Ed passed away. I’ve known Ed for many, many years. We started first grade together and went thru all our school years together. We served on class reunion committees, coal crackers dance committees, we spent time together with he and Dottie in San Diego. Ed was a great guy, lots of fun, a real gentleman. He and Dottie were a special couple !
My deepest sympathy to you all,
Kitty Marchalonis Davis

Condolences to the family and friends of this great man! Although I never met him in person, we did FaceTime when Nicki was home with him and he was always in great spirits and made me laugh on many occasions! Love and Hugs to the family!

I worked for Ed after I graduated from high school, and he with fellow work mates attended my wedding. I’m so glad to see he lived a long enjoyable life. My condolences to his family. Randy Hassler
