Ann B. Morrison, 89

Ann B. Morrison, 89, of Columbia, PA, formerly of Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025, at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Ione (MacWilliams) and Oscar T. Cecil. She was the beloved wife of the late Earl Joseph Morrison, who preceded her in death in 2021.

Ann was a graduate of Seton High School and remained very involved with her high school alumni throughout her life. Along with making a home, she worked at the National Conference of Christian and Jews and as an organizer of community events. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.

Ann had a gift for bringing people together. She was known for her love of parties and family gathering where she shared her of cooking, especially her strawberry shortcake, and her extensive knowledge of family history.

She survives her son and daughter-in-law, Steven Morrison, Clarie Waistell, Evanston, IL; and her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and MaryJo Cecil, of New York. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Ann and brother, Tom, husband of Lile Cecil.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17601. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 AM to11:00 AM prior to the Mass. Interment will take place at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Baltimore National Cemetery.

Ann loved music and all forms of artistic beauty. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an arts organization of your choice.
