Ronald A. Sellers, 82
July 08, 2025
Ron Sellers, age 82 of Lancaster, passed away suddenly on July 8, 2025 at the Penn State Lancaster Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Greenville, South Carolina on January 24, 1943, he was the son of the late Walter and Lois Sellers.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Barbara with whom he would have celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 5th, his daughter Linda of Elizabethtown, son Keith of Charlotte, North Carolina and granddaughter, Brooke Denson and her husband Wade of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ron is preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne Sellers.
In Ron’s earlier days, he was active with Hempfield youth sports, enjoyed bowling, working with old cars and traveling.
A 1960 graduate of Middletown High School, Ron retired from Yellow Freight. He then made new friends at Hempfield Rec Center until kidney dialysis introduced him to another family of friends.
The family would like to thank DaVita dialysis nurses and ICU nurses and doctors at Penn State Lancaster Medical Center.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Donations in Ron’s memory may go to the charity of our choice.

To Ron’s family and friends,
I am saddened to hear of his passing. He and I worked together at Yellow Freight. The last time I saw him, some years ago at Roots Market, he told me of his health issues.
I hope you find comfort and peace amidst your grief,
David Ganse
