He had the biggest heart and gave it to everyone. We shared many great memories and laughs. After I moved out of Lititz I came back several times to visit him. He always loved to hang out, and was very hospitable. Our favorite thing to do was chill and have a bbq on the porch then play video games or watch a movie after. We’ve kept in touch throughout the years even though we lived in different parts of the country. I love you brother and will miss you my dear friend!

My sincere condolences. I met Matt in high school and share several mutual friends. We reconnected in the past 10 years through social media and started talking on the phone. We would check in on each other every so often and would update each other about struggles and what we were up to and always ended the conversation on a positive note, looking forward to the next talk. He is known for being a great guy and will surely be missed by anyone that knew him. RIP, my friend; I’ll never forget your perspective on things and your laugh. I can still hear it when I think of you.

Matt was an amazing guy, we were very best friends for awhile, he saved me from my life. I threw him a birthday party at my house, his parents came, he was overjoyed. I will miss you always Matt and thank you from keeping me from the abuser in my life and bringing me peace when I could escape. Such a big heart.
