Dale Alan Whiskeyman, 81

Dale Alan Whiskeyman, 81, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully and of natural causes after a brief illness on June 8, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Calvin and Emma (Kacelovicz) Whiskeyman. He was married 60 years to his beloved wife, Donna Ann (Consylman) Whiskeyman.
Dale was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School and worked as a plant control operator for PPL. He was proud of his service in the US Army National Guard. A devout Catholic, he was a longtime parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church and was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Dale was extremely hardworking, loved his family dearly, and had a deep faith.
In addition to his wife, Dale is survived by 2 daughters: Shelly Lynn Weidinger (John) and Julie Ann Whiskeyman (Tony); 3 grandchildren: Ashley N. Conlin (Amanda), Nick R. Weidinger (Willow), and Nate M. Weidinger; 2 great-granddaughters: Kali M. and Laci R. Weidinger; and his cat, Chloe. He was predeceased by his brothers Kenneth N. and Calvin B. Whiskeyman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Dale’s name to St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

I worked with Dale at PPL for 40 years…we were like a family. Dale was always a hard worker, the voice of reason and a man of his word. It was a privilege to call him “friend.” Our prayers are with Donna and the family.
