Jenny L. Wilimzig, 52
May 11, 2025
Jenny L. Wilimzig, 52, of New Holland, passed away unexpectedly at home, of natural causes, on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of Karen (Lapp) Arters, life partner of Andy Long, and Cheyney Arters. She was the loving wife of Steven Wilimzig who preceded her in death less than 2 weeks prior.
Jenny was a stay-at-home mom who loved and cared for her son, Cody and her husband Steve. Family was her priority, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Clay. Jenny loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Christmas was her favorite holiday to bake hundreds of cookies to give to her family and friends. She enjoyed decorating for Christmas, no one in the neighborhood could outdo her display. Jenny will be missed by so many that she met, she never met a stranger. She also loved animals of all kinds, especially moose.
In addition to her parents, Jenny is survived by her sons: Cody Hutson, of New Holland, and Cody Wilimzig, husband of Shauna, of Columbia, SC; grandson, Clay A. Wilimzig, of Columbia, SC; brother, Cheyney Arters, husband of Christine, of Honey Brook; grandmother, Shirley Arters, of Honey Brook; nieces: Danielle Sanders, wife of Levi, of Honey Brook and Rachelle Arters, of Honey Brook; a sister-in-law, Kim Wilson of Coatesville; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. In addition to her husband, Steven, she was preceded in death by her best friend, Brian Bottner, and grandfather, Herman Arters.
Memorial Services for Jenny will be held at a later date.

Jenny was a unique and gifted person. Illnesses and difficulties beset her life in many ways. BUT, perseverance is an admirable quality that describes her. If you needed to vent about anything, or even just to be heard – Jenny had an open ear. If you had gotten down on your luck she’d give you the shirt off her back. Beveridge, snack, soup, meal – always available and always superbly prepared. She loved her husband Steve, his sudden death broke her heart. She loved her son Cody. We pray that he will be able to press on in life in spite of her absence. Please don’t just forget about her. Instead, keep her memory and take that forward with you. As situations bring her to mind there may be some tears. That’s okay. There will also be some chuckles. That’s okay, too. We will miss her – but may we also be thankful for the memories that spring up. Treasure them.
