Kenny Zhang, 60
May 05, 2025
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kenny Zhang, who departed this life on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the age of 60, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Kenny immigrated to the United States from China 40 years ago, bringing with him a passion for culinary arts and hospitality. Throughout his life, Kenny demonstrated unwavering self-sacrifice and devotion to his family, working tirelessly to create opportunities and provide a better life for his children. For 25 years, he and his wife were the proud owners and operators of Tokyo Diner in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where they shared their love of good food and created a welcoming space for the community.
He found joy in serving others and was deeply grateful for the support and friendship he received from the Lancaster community throughout his years. His warm smile, generous spirit, and delicious cooking touched countless lives.
Kenny is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, three children (two sons and one daughter), and a granddaughter, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and service.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1: 00PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543.
