Isaac Miller, 79

Isaac Miller, 79, of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Norman G. and Helen (McDonnell) Miller. Isaac proudly served in the United States Army, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. He had been disabled since 1975.

Isaac was an avid model railroader, whose elaborate layout took up an entire bedroom. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Mike, in Enola watching the freight trains at the Enola Yard.

Isaac will be greatly missed by his friends and especially his family. He is survived by his two sons: Michael Miller, companion of Joyce, of Enola, and Brian Miller, of Lancaster. Four grandchildren: Brandon and Samantha Miller, of Enola, Hunter Miller of Mount Joy, and Gabrielle Miller of Middletown.

Isaac will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Mike and family and Brian, my deepest condolences for the passing of your Dad. He was a good man, a “tough old bird” as they say. I’ll miss our back door chats! RIP Ike!! From next door neighbor, Jeff
