Elaine D. Scott, 79, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025. Born in East Orange, New Jersey, Elaine was the cherished daughter of the late Mary Veronica (Polonsky) Duffy and Albert Harold Duffy. She was the devoted wife of the late S. David Scott, Jr., MD, PhD, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Elaine will be fondly remembered for her deep love of family, her kind heart with animals, her warm and inviting spirit, and her incredible cinnamon buns that were a family favorite. Her happiest days were summers enjoying the remote beauty of Monhegan Island, Maine with her family. She appreciated simple pleasures and sharing moments with her grandchildren.

Elaine’s family was the heart of her world. She is survived by her son, C. Eric Scott, and his wife, Carrie, of Lititz, along with her beloved grandchildren: Zachary, Samantha, Trevor, and Tyler, who brought endless pride and joy to her life. Elaine is also survived by her sister, Joanne Jones, and her nieces and nephews: John Marsland, Scott Marsland, Sharon Marsland, Loren Browdy, and Kara Browdy.

Elaine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. S. David Scott, and her son, Ryan A. Scott.

A private interment will take place at Arlington Family Services.
