Deborah A. Shenberger, 75

Deborah A. Shenberger, 75, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Miriam (Michael) Newport.
Deborah worked in the manufacturing industry for many years and held various positions. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cheering on the Steelers, and shopping through QVC. Deborah was a talented gardener and loved to grow flowers and plants. She was known to make an outstanding French toast and was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Deborah is survived by her 2 sons: Sean Shenberger and Jeffery Sheirich; 2 grandchildren: Patrick and Lennon Shenberger; 2 great-grandchildren: Isla and Crue Shenberger; and her brother Corey Newport (Barbara). She was predeceased by her brother Elvin Newport, Jr.
Deborah will be laid to rest at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Sean, JP and family, So sad that Deb has passed away. All of the good memories, fun times and caring love she gave will be cherished for a very long time. Deb indeed was a kind warm-hearted person. Sean – very sorry to hear of Debbie’s passing. I lived on Lafayette street and went to school with her from 7th grade thru 10th then moved away! Stayed in touch with her until I graduated and came in one time snd we went horseback riding. She was a beautiful lady. My name then was Sharon Reitzel.
