Amos S. Beiler, 94

July 17, 1929 - April 19, 2024

Amos S. Beiler, age 94, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024. He was born in Paradise Township to the late Henry K. and Sarah Beiler. He was the husband of the late Frances (Sally) Beiler with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

He served in the US Marines during the Korean War.

Amos loved the outdoors – gardening, planting berry bushes, trees, and flower beds. He also loved to play softball. He liked to cook, and he was interested in buying and selling antiques.

He is survived by three children: Robert of Melbourne Florida, married to Donna; Kenneth of Lancaster, married to Pamela, and a daughter, Deborah of Lancaster. Also, he has 4 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He had five sisters, Priscilla, Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Susie, and one brother, John.

Private burial will take place in Conestoga Memorial Park.

Sorry to hear about your Dad. He was always very kind to me. I’d see him at garage sales sometimes but that was years ago. I’m sure he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

So sorry for your loss, Bob and family.  I met Amos when I was running sound for bands at The Warehouse Tavern.  He would always have us drink shots of Rumple Minze out of the cooler at the end of the night when we had finished tearing down. 
Until recently, he would stop in my shop a couple of times a year, when he was downtown, to say hi and chat for a while.   It was always good to see him and catch up.
Amos was a great guy.  I will miss him.

So sorry for your loss. Amos loved all of his children and grandchildren very much, and was very excited to have become a great grandpa. He was kind and we had many fun times together. He will be missed.
