I grew up with Steve from infant to teenager. We were connected at the hip in our pre-teen years. Little did we know that going into the woods to catch box turtles and bring them home ane put our initials on there back would turn into a major hobbie of Steve’s. We would catch garter snakes and bring them home and put them in an aquarium. That was all fine and dandy until they escaped in my mom’s house. Well needless to say we weren’t aloud to bring wild animals into the house anymore. It’s funny how things turn out with him collecting the things we caught as kids. After our teen years we either went into the service or college or got married and moved away. I could kick myself in the a** for not trying to reconnect. You think you have time to do it and all of a sudden time runs out. I haven’t seen you for probably 55 years but can still see us running around the neighborhood and playing with all our great friends. I’m sure gonna miss you buddy. Have a great time in heaven catching all those box turtles. Your friend Bill

I would like to express my deepest most sincere condolences to the family of this kind man I got to know while working in the home. My absolute favorite man to care for. I used to tell him I wanted to sneak him home in my back pocket. He said I needed bigger pockets.
