Yvonne Gladys Slusser Weatherill, 83
April 14, 1939 - January 12, 2023
Yvonne Gladys Slusser Weatherill was born on April 14, 1939. She entered her eternal rest on January 12, 2023 at the age of 83. She worked most of her life in the medical field. Yvonne loved God and was active most of her life in her church. She was very loving and compassionate, spending much of her life helping others.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Raymond Leroy Weatherill; daughter, Cindi Wahlund and her husband, John; grandchildren Jeremy Wahlund, Ryan Wahlund, Alison Wahlund, Andrew Wahlund, Jeffrey Weatherill, and Cindi Weatherill; great grandchildren Landon Wahlund, Benjamin Wahlund and Journey Weatherill; a sister, Mary Lee Kapsak and a brother, Sterling Slusser, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Weatherill, and sisters, Winifred, Jessie, Anna Jean, Margie and Erma.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 21, at 11 am at the Lancaster Chuch of the Nazarene, 2150 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, PA. Visitation with the family will be at 10:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to your favorite animal rescues group – Mom LOVED God, kids and animals!

Do you have a new granddaughter now her name is Laney Yvonne weather we named her after you keep the memory with you we always loved you and we always will the day of your funeral I want to cry so hard but I know I knew that you were in so much pain I’m just so happy or not you always still have me you always still have all of us but I will see you soon but stalking me that soon I’ll grow old have grandchildren no I’ll make you handshake they’ll be named after you I know I know I can’t call you but I just want to every single day I just think of the part I just want to call you but I just can’t I know I’ll still have memories of you I know you’re always looking down on all of us but I know I really do want to see you show back but I can’t and I always love you you’re still always have a piece of me and same with Dad same with Ashley and I always still have you and your little stories in my heart and in my brain you’re the one who’s keeping me pushing in school telling me I just think of your stories whenever you would whenever I get upset I want to and whenever somebody we all still love you and we always will I’m just so happy you’re not a pain no more I love you Nana so much I love you.
