I well remember Mrs. Garden when she taught music for the Fairfield, CT public schools in the 1960’s. She was a gifted pianist and I always looked forward to her hour-long music sessions at Holland Hill school when we had many sing alongs from the traditional American songbook. She even directed the music for an evening minstrel show in which all grades participated. Lasting memories from a wonderful teacher!
