May Y Moua, 75, of Denver, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in Minneapolis.
She was the wife of Chapao Moua of Denver. Born in Laos, May was the daughter of the late Cha Sia Yang and Chong Lee Yang.
A talented seamstress, quilter, and embroiderer, she was a hard working provider for her family and was a very business oriented person. She worked tirelessly to give her family part of the American Dream, after coming to the United States in 1977.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, and loved to be with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her heart and her home were always open to others, giving to anyone who was in experiencing need in their life. She lived beyond herself.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Pheng Moua married to Shing, Naly Moua, Koyia Moua, William Moua married to Pajfuab, and Levy Moua married to Rosalie; her 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, four sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kia.
Her family will welcome friends on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike from 8-9AM, with a service to begin at 9am. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery in Denver, PA.
