Dear Brenda:  Ron and I extend to you our deepest sympathy on the loss of your “polka dance partner” Scott. We remember his friendly welcome to us when we came back to the Polkateers after many years of being away raising our children.  His happy smile and enthusiasm for ethnic dance and polka music was an inspiration to us.  Those happy memories and other good times will always be with you.  God Bless, Ron and Cindy Dell

Dearest Brenda and family,
When we opened the Wednesday newspaper and read the sad news we couldn’t believe Scott was gone. We met Scott in 1982 and had some great times together over all the years. Scott was always protective of his friends and he will be greatly missed.

With sympathy from Larry Harsh.
I had known Scott for more than 63 years, ever since we were 7 year olds on Marshall Avenue.  Although we didn’t see very much of each other after high school I considered him a very good friend that had a very good heart.  For over 10 years we saw each other every day in school. but also saw each other at home since we lived across the street from each other.  In fact, his mother baby sat me since my parents both worked.
Scott will be missed by me, but the memories will last forever in my mind.  I will be out of town during his funeral service, but I will be there in spirit.
Sincerely,
Larry Harsh

Scott did so much for our neighborhood.  You would see him out raking up leaves on the block and putting them in piles.(A never ending job with the sycamore  trees. ). He also helped wherever  he could.  He was always there for friendly conversation. He is going to be greatly missed.  MY heart goes out  to his family and to his beloved  Chrissy(his dog)  I believe many of us are in a state of shock over his death.  HE will not  be soon forgotten……Judy Keller
