Dear Nancy… and the rest of the Benders… I am so sorry to hear about Chetty. I remember how Linda and I used to tease him and how Chet would tell us to leave the boy alone. All good memories of the Bender house on Queen Street so many years ago.

Michelle and family,
I want to offer my sympathy on the passing away of your husband (and father). The Bender’s were old family friends of my parents, Muss and Marie Harnish. We spent time together when we were young. (I believe my Dad and Chet’s Dad worked together at one time.) The story is that Chety (as we called him), bit me one time at the beach, when we were just babies. I was sorry to hear about Chet’s passing away. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Chetty, Thanks for all the great times that we had way back in the days, cycle riding, hunting and working for the Murry gang. The memories still are fresh in my mind daily and will never be forgotten. You and I had to stick up for each other because of our age. Michelle my heart goes out to you and the family and I hope Nancy can handle this gently. Well bud, Rest in Peace and enjoy the everlasting time with Dad. Love, Reid Coyle
