Ron was such a kind, sweet, generous and loving man. He treated our daughers as if the were royalty. They have fond memories of Ron joking around with them and catering to their every whim dating back as far as their toddlerhood. (they are mid-late 20s now) It was such a special time when Cindy and Ron would come to visit us or vice versa. Since we live in Minnesota, those times were not frequent enough. We last visited Ron in October when he was just learning of his diagnosis. He met it with a conviction of strength, hope and determination to beat it. We take comfort in knowing that Ron had the best possible care from his wife Cindy. She missed her calling as a nurse/doctor as caregiving does not get any better than what she provided for Ron. We are so happy to have been a part of Ron’s life. We will dearly miss him. We will always be here for you, Cindy, in this tough time and forever.
– Anne Getz Goshert (childhood friend since 1st grade)
