Karen S. (Kopp) Mundorf, 69

Karen S. (Kopp) Mundorf, 69, of Lancaster, died Monday, December 7, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.
Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of Howard Mundorf of Lancaster, and the daughter of Dorothy E. (Althouse) Kopp of Lancaster, and the late J. Robert Kopp.
Karen loved being involved in her grandchildren’s lives. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and her many interests included baking and crafting. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched.
Karen was employed by Armstrong World Industries 24 years until her retirement, retiring as a Senior Research Technician.
She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Lancaster.
In addition to her husband of 48 years and her mother, she is survived by a daughter, Julie Boldizar and her husband Mark; a son, Matthew Mundorf and his wife Natalie; 4 grandchildren: Luke and Shane Mundorf and Mikayla and Hope Boldizar; a brother, Mark Kopp; and a sister, Marilyn McKain, all of Lancaster.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 at Otterbein UMC, 20 E. Clay St, Lancaster with Pastor Joshua Beers officiating. Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, and again one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

I am so sorry for your loss! Karen was a huge support to my Mom as she fought cancer. She was a constant cheerleader and a beacon of hope. How very blessed we all were to have known her and experience her kindness. God bless you all at now and always.

Dear Mundorf family ~ I was saddened to hear of Karen’s passing ~ She was always bright and cheery.  Loved the candies she made at Easter time.  May her spirit and memories sustain the family during this time.

Karen was a dear friend.  I will miss but remember our lunchs when I would be back in Lancaster.  She would always tell me how great it was to have grandchildren.  Karen will be greatly missed. Andrea
