Dear Family Bushong, dear Tim, sadly I read about the passing away of your father. Back in the Seventies I had the luck to get to know him and I remember him well as a very gracious and loving person. My empathy with you, Tim, Ted, Rebecca, Carol, Steve, your mother and all of your families.
Sincerely, Ute Rauscher, Germany

“We going to Bushongs’!” was one of the happiest announcements I heard repeatedly through my childhood. Thank you forever for all the wonderful childhood memories on the farm and in CBYF, Mark, Marty and family.Joanne Swords-Wang

I don’t know if you will remember me, or not, Marty, but we lived next door to you at 1108 Snapper Dam Rd. from ’80 to ’93, & always enjoyed having you & Mark as our neighbors.  Do you remember our Collie (Coffee) who used to frequently bring your newspaper to our house from your driveway, & you would always know then just where to come to retrieve it??  Such great memories, for sure.  So awfully sorry to hear of Mark’s passing tho — I moved back up here in Dec. ’13 after my husband Gary passed away very  unexpectedly as well in July of that same year.  We had lived in the New Orleans area for the previous 19 years, but since we still had family in the Lancaster area, had always planned to move back here once again in retirement — sadly tho, only I was able to do that eventually, & I now live in Mount Joy.  My sincerest condolences to you & your family, Marty.   Jo Ann Nelson

Just remember all the good times you shared with your dad and all the love he gave you throughout the years. He is not gone. He will live in your heart forever.
