When Bill was trimming trees in Quarryville, he would stop at our service station for fuel and oil; He had trimed two trees along, long time ago for my dad, they both died. Dad nicknamed him "Tree killer". We all had fun teasing each other. He would come back with "There’s not a Ross he couldn’t whip". When he delivered parts to us, he would get out of the truck, he’d say, "When in doubt just give a shout and call for Bill McGuire". He always had an answer for us. He was very proud of his family, and would tell us about the grandchildren racing. You are all in our thoughts and prayers

The Ross Family.

Bill (Willie) as we called him was our neighbor for years on N. Reservoir St. Willie was always there and willing to help whenever he could. He loved his kids and the grand kids and loved to go with them racing. He was always on the go. I would always cook and loved to have him for supper or send some to him. He loved to eat the oyster pie and spaghetti . He would rave about how much he loved the home cooking.

We were sorry when he moved away . We were also very saddened when we heard of his passing. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that he is now at peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Family,
TIm, Justin and I send our deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of our dear Uncle Bill.  We will miss him dearly.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle to us all.  We remember the the time we came to Lancaster and he took TImmy and I all around to see covered bridges and the Amish.  He was a very good man and an excellent example of a life lived with kindness and courage.
Love,
cousin Lisa Pantelleria Kunz

Hi Karen,

Not sure if you remember me, Carol and i were together all the time, every summer down at the park, Tammy Laukhuff, I’m sorry to hear about your dad, but i was very shocked to hear about Carol, i’ve tried to get in contact with her over the years with no luck because i did not know her last name and i did contact your dad twice to have her contact me and never heard anything.  Was she sick?  This is really bothersome to me with her being so young, i think about her every year on her bday

Dear family,
We were so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.  I have fond memories of being at your family home on Resvoir Street and playing in the park out back. Our family spent alot of time at your house and vice versa. Maybe my parents and yours will again spend time together in heaven. Please accept our apologies for not attending the service-we were out of town.
