Jean M. Miller, 82
Jean M. Miller, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at her residence.
She was the wife of Russell C. Miller, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this coming September 17th. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert W. Sr. and Virginia M. Fitzgerald.
Jean had worked as a chef at Kegels Seafood for 20 years until retiring in 1978. Prior to this, she had worked at the Hamilton Watch Co. and RCA Corp.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Jean enjoyed dancing, was a big Phillies fan, and loved to travel especially to Florida and on cruises. When she was younger she played accordion and sang with the Reg Kehoe Band.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Ronald R. Reese and her grandson Ryan Reese of Miami Springs, FL. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Fitzgerald Jr. and her 2 sisters Virginia Hipple and Norma Stumpf.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
