DEAR CONNIE & FAMILY –  WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS THE SHOCK WE FELT UPON LEARNING OF DAVE’S DEATH.  HE IS THE SECOND ONE OF OUR GENERATION TO PASS ON NOW, AND WE, BEING THE OLDEST OF THE "BUNCH"  THOUGHT WE WOULD BE THE FIRST TO GO.  GOD MOVES IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS HIS WONDERS TO PERFORM. IT IS UP TO US WHO ARE LEFT TO TRUST OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, KNOWING THAT HE IS WORKING ALL THINGS OUT FOR OUR GOOD. SOON WE SHALL JOIN ALL THOSE WHO HAVE PASSED, AS WE BELIEVE THAT WE ARE TRULY LIVING IN THE END TIMES.  MAY GOD’S RICHEST BLESSINGS BE UPON YOU CONNIE, AND YOUR CHILDREN, AND MAY HE GIVE YOU HIS PEACE WHICH PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING.
IN CHRISTIAN LOVE,
JOHN & DOLORES BYERS

Dear Connie and family,
I have known Dave since we were young in Marietta.  We went through all our school years together and went to Zion’s UCC all our growing up years.  Please pass my condolences along to his mother, Elsie, she is a wonderful woman and I am sure this is very hard for her also.  Take care and I know we will see our loved ones when we all get to Heaven.
God bless you all,
Nancy Oberholtzer, Marietta

Connie & family, there are no words that can express in human terms the lose felt by those left behind.  Except in some cases like Dave’s when we know where his dwelling place is right now as I type. Our sorrow is really only for a moment, a twinkling of the eye & soon enough we too will see him face to face & we too together will look upon "His" face! That of our Lord Jesus the Christ! So for now, just for now, except our heartfelt sympathies for "your" sorrow. For it too shall pass with the passing of time, one day at a time, ever so slowly.  But knowing where  Dave is & knowing what he is doing brings some peace, some comfort. God bless you all & please know that there are people out here who do hold you up in our prayer’s & who do care!  Try to remember that…"God is good all the time…all the time, God is good!  In His service & as always…
Allen & Marsha Meeker.

Dear Connie,

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other, but I do think about you sometimes.  I remember good times with you and Dave.I will certainly remember you and your family in my prayers for comfort and strength.
May you hear the Lord’s call clearly for whatever direction He will be sending you.
God bless.
