Sue Ann (Risser) Stauffer joined her husband James in heaven on December 31st, 2025. She was the youngest child of Carl and Ruth Risser. She loved her hometown of Lititz and lived her entire 83 years of life there. Sue and her husband “Jim” celebrated over 60 years of marriage and were a beautiful example of unconditional love to their family. Sue was affectionately known as “Gammy” by her family and friends! She trusted Jesus throughout her life and faithfully attended Calvary Church in Lancaster. Her husband Jim, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy. She created a warm and welcoming home where her family and friends could gather. Some of her best memories were family vacations to the beach, lake and especially Aruba. She had a kind and generous heart, always willing to share her time and resources to help others. Because of her fun-loving personality, she never met a stranger, as she talked with everyone she encountered. She enjoyed many years as a Mary Kay consultant and loved helping women feel beautiful. Sue “Gammy” will be forever missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She was one of a kind!

Maria (Marie) Wittreich, 90
Maria (Marie) Wittreich died peacefully in her home on December 29th at the age of 90, with her devoted husband of sixty-seven years at her side. She was born on April 25, 1935, in Rieg, Gottschee, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia), to Maria and Ludwig Tschopp. During World War II, Marie lived in Untersteiermark (Lower Styria), Yugoslavia, with her family. After spending seven years in Salzburg, Austria, she immigrated to the United States in 1952, settling in Ridgewood, Queens, NY, where she met her beloved husband, Robert Wittreich, at the Gottscheer Hall. They were married at St. Matthias Church in Ridgewood, NY, in 1958. Marie and Robert started a family, moving to Oakland, NJ, in 1967, then to Coventry, RI, in 1984, and finally settling in Lancaster, PA, in 2002.
