Jody Lynn Ruble-Eisenbise

Jody Lynn Ruble-Eisenbise, 66, of Washington Boro, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

Born in Key West, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Shirley Gebhard and Bobby Ruble. She was a proud Navy brat where her father's 30 years of service took her all over the country.

Jody’s greatest joy and the center of her life were her children, Kelsea and Kolby Eisenbise. She devoted her life to loving, supporting, and caring for them, and being their mother was the role she treasured most. Her love for her children was unwavering and will remain one of the greatest parts of her legacy.

Jody proudly worked in Customer Service at Wenger Feeds, where she built many friendships over her nearly 34 years of employment and loved engaging with everyone she could.

She found happiness in the simple comforts of everyday life. An avid reader, Jody enjoyed beginning her mornings with a cup of tea and could often be found settling in with a good book. She loved the beach and the memories and peace she found there. She was also known for her delicious zucchini bread and key lime pie, made with the kind of care that made sharing them with others especially meaningful.

Jody’s heart also extended to her beloved fur babies, Iris, her dog, and Misty, her cat, who brought her companionship and comfort as well as extended family members.

She previously attended Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren.

Jody will be remembered most for the love she gave her children, the quiet joys she found in everyday life, her love of the beach, a warm cup of tea, a book, and her laugh. Though her passing was unexpected, the love she gave and the memories she created will remain with those who knew and loved her.

Memorial contributions in Jody’s memory may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund or your favorite pet/animal charity.

Services for Jody will be announced at a later time.
