Melanie Melissa Meyer

Melanie Melissa Meyer, 55, of Strasburg, PA, was welcomed into heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 4, 2026.

Melanie was the cast coordinator at Sight & Sound Theatre. She met her husband, Matt Meyer, in 2001 at Sight & Sound where their love story blossomed. Melanie’s Christian Faith was very important to her. Melanie and Matt provided Seed Ministries out of their own home every Sunday.

In addition to her husband, Matt, Melanie is survived by her mother, Lucie Hewitt; a sister, Beverly Davis, wife of Walt; and nieces & nephews: Ashley Rich, wife of Shane, Kelsey Haynes, wife of Caleb, Nathanael Oates and Samuel Oates.

She was embraced in heaven by her father, James Hewitt, who proceeded her to the eternal reward of all those who are in Christ.

Services will be held in North Carolina with Melanie’s family.
