Celebration of Life ceremonies are ways to honor loved ones in an uplifting and joyful environment.

No longer do funeral services have to be somber, mournful gatherings. Many families today are instead choosing to create memorial tributes for their loved ones that are uplifting, happy and sometimes even festive.

Celebration of Life services can be well-suited for remembering individuals who had a passion for living life. This contemporary approach can be personalized in any way that a family requests, but the atmosphere is typically more informal than a traditional funeral visitation or wake. Often the lights are up, the music is upbeat, and the guests – who may come dressed casually as opposed to dark suits and dresses – are smiling, laughing and singing.

Combining Different Services

A celebration of life ceremony is sometimes paired with a traditional funeral servicecremation or a gravesite burial. Other times it is the only service a family holds. It all depends on the wishes of the deceased or those making the arrangements.

Sometimes a celebration is the most appropriate way to remember a family member who always lived their life to the fullest.

Celebration of Life
The place I call home...

It's impossible to separate my love for Lancaster County from my love of horses. Horses have been a fascination of mine since childhood, and the numerous barns, stables and beautiful trails to ride throughout Lancaster County makes the region a very special place. Owning a horse teaches great responsibility, and provides me with incredible friendship and an escape from reality.
