Joshua Mark “Josh” Eaby, 41

August 14, 1984 - November 27, 2025

Joshua Mark “Josh” Eaby, of Etown, PA, passed away the night of November 27, 2025. Josh was a devoted father, son, brother, partner, and friend. Josh was born on August 14th, 1984 in Newport RI, the son of Daniel and Joanne Eaby. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Kylee Wood, significant other, Erica Gehman, siblings, Jared and Jordanna Eaby, and beloved dogs, Riot and Reagan.

As a child Josh was engaged in many sports. He loved summers at Lititz Springs Pool, camping at the Delaware shore and our annual family vacation in Myrtle Beach. He played baseball through Warwick Little League for many years primarily as a catcher, proudly wearing Darren Dalton’s #10 on all his jerseys. His family and many in the community would love to watch him play ball. It was his passion. During his middle school years, Josh joined the wrestling team, quickly falling in love with the sport. During his high school years, he became involved in personal training and gym management and proudly worked at Etown Fitness Center.

Josh graduated from Warwick High School in 2003. Around the birth of his daughter, Josh left his job as a gym trainer to pursue a career in healthcare management. He received his LPN from LCCTC in 2010 and completed his AD in Healthcare Administration from HACC. Josh began his medical career with Davita Dialysis, quickly advancing into leadership as a Group Facility Administrator. He gained many friends and dear colleagues while with Davita. He continued in leadership with his latest position at NuMotion as Director of Service Fulfillment.

As his daughter grew, Josh enjoyed supporting Kylee in her sports endeavors. Whether cheer, softball, volleyball, or track, Josh was proud to attend her events and cheer her on. He loved to quietly (most of the time) critique an umpire – he knew the game well.

Josh was a proud man. Proud of his embankment, tool collection, and latest project. But most of all, he was proud of his family. He loved fiercely and with a strength undeterred by any trifle or disagreement—he was a rock to lean on and a shield to seek protection behind. Whether he knew a person but a week or 41 years, Josh carried [with him] a spirited humorousness and an unwavering refusal to stand by in silence. He will be dearly missed.

Services will be held on December 7, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Viewing will be held from 10am-12pm with service following. Graveside service immediately following at Mt. Tunnel Cemetery. We will celebrate Josh’s life at Etown Fitness at 4pm. Please join us to share stories, love, and laughter as we honor an extraordinary son, brother, father, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, please direct contributions toward his daughter’s (Kylee Wood) college education fund. Donations will be accepted at any Fulton Bank Location.

Condolences to the Family

Josh was in my senior English class, and I still remember how incredibly enthusiastic and optimistic he was.  Even then, Josh had a non-judgmental way of encouraging others (including me) to meet their fitness goals.  His charisma and sense of humor made class better for everyone, and his positive energy was infectious.  I am so sorry for your loss, and I hope you can find comfort in this difficult time.

I hung around with Josh in High School. He was always so kind to everyone and could strike up a conversation with anyone. The world lost a person that was different, and genuine. Prayers to his daughter and partner. -Alex Tomlinson

I am deeply saddened to hear of Josh’s passing. We grew up together–we were both Lititz El kids and he was truly one of those people that was always kind, gracious and welcoming to all. I hadn’t seen him in years and was able to hang out a good bit at our 20th high school reunion in November 2023. It was a great group of so many different individuals, just happy to be there and celebrating our reunion. My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends. Megan (Callahan) Beyerle

I am still in shock over the loss of Josh. I had the pleasure of working with Josh the SOP Dialysis unit which is now known as as DaVita. He was always smiling and I can still hear his crazy laugh, you didn’t have to see him but knew he was near, even after he left his LPN position. He was a great person and will be missed. My condolences to his family, Erica and friends. Prayers and hugs. May the memories of Josh hold dear to you and help you in this difficult time. GOD gained a special person in Heaven 😢❤️
