Herbert L. Roth, Jr., 91

Herbert L. Roth, Jr., 91, of Lititz, passed away on November 4, 2025. Born and raised in Lititz, he was the son of the late Herbert Sr. and Emma Martin.
Herbert proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. During his service, he developed a love for travel while stationed in Turkey and Germany. After returning home, he became a well-known and loved local letter carrier, serving the Lititz community for nearly 30 years.
On July 2, 1966, Herb married the love of his life, Carol, and together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. He was known for his great sense of humor, his love for his family, and his knowledge and love for his hometown. Herbert was also a member of the Manheim Sportsman Club, was an avid photographer, and was never one to turn down a sweet.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Edward, husband of Monica; Gregg Williams, husband of Karen; and Angi Hayden, wife of Tom; as well as five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his cherished dog, Teddy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved sister Beverly and cherished granddaughter, Stephanie.
Herb’s kindness and humor will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Friends are invited to gather for a casual greeting prior to the service from 4:00 to 5:00pm with a service to start at 5pm.
In lieu of flowers send to donations to the Lancaster Humane Society.
