Kathleen M. Eddins, 77

Kathleen M. Eddins, 77, of Lancaster, entered eternal rest Sept. 30, 2025. Born in Lancaster on January 29, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Rittenhouse) Bleacher. She shared almost 60 years with her devoted husband Carleton W. “Carl” Eddins, until his passing in 2024.

After struggling with diabetes in her personal life, Kathleen made it a mission to support and help others. She pioneered a support group and helped many through her work. She enjoyed online shopping, collecting, decorating her home and loved animals.

She fiercely loved her family and cared for them in countless ways. Kathleen will be missed by them including her daughters, Vicki L. Stoltz, wife of Scott Jude of Berlin, MD, and Casey A. Thomas, wife of the late Vincent Thomas of Lancaster; grandchildren who affectionately called her “G-Ma”, Olivia L. Fisher (Brandon) and Nikolas C. Kunkle (Haley), a great granddaughter, Lauren Rose, and a niece, Sharon Oliphant. She was preceded in passing by her parents, her devoted husband Carl, and a sister, Shirley Rineer.

A Funeral Service honoring Kathleen will be held at 12 PM on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. The family will receive guests from 11 AM until the time of service.
