Winifred C. Fellenbaum Nicklaus
Winifred “Winnie” C. Fellenbaum Nicklaus, 85, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on June 14, 2026 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William Luther Storm and Elizabeth M. (Funke) Storm. Winnie was the loving wife of 41 years to Edward Nicklaus.
Winnie attended Lancaster Catholic High School. She was an avid reader, enjoyed needlework, camping and traveling. Most of all, Winnie loved spending time with her family. Winnie also worked outside of the home for many years and enjoyed the detailed work she performed assembling components for companies including Datcon Instruments and Bulova Tech.
In addition to her husband, Edward, Winnie is survived by her 3 children: Steven Fellenbaum (Laurie), Thomas Fellenbaum (Margaret) and Paula Loughead (William); 2 stepchildren: Beverly Leisey (Bruce) and Robert Landis (Sharon); a daughter-in-law: Kimberly Fellenbaum; 9 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Geraldine A. Ramsey; many nieces & nephews; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Winnie was preceded in death by her first husband: James G. Fellenbaum, Sr. (1971); 2 children: James G. Fellenbaum, Jr. (2024) and Michael W. Fellenbaum (1999); and 3 sisters: Patricia M. Good (2010), Elizabeth S. Butz (2021) and Jacqueline R. Fulmer (2006).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM on Friday, June 26, 2026 at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St, Lancaster, PA 17602. Friends will be received from 10-11 AM prior to Mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Winnie’s memory may be made to the Benevolent Fund at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave, West Hempfield Twp, Columbia, PA 17512.
