William "Bill" Osborne Jr.

William “Bill” Osborne Jr., 78, of Lancaster passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, after a valiant battle with ALS. Born in Paterson, NJ he was the son of the late William Osborne Sr. and Claire (Ferdinand) Osborne. He was the loving husband of Joyce (Sackett) Osborne with whom he celebrated over 53 years of marriage.

Bill worked in sales most of his life and retired with Highland Tank Co. and after retirement worked for CK Manufacturing.

He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War where he was awarded with a Bronze Star.

In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by his children: Kim Stauffer wife of Tony of Baltimore, MD, Dan Osborne of Livingston, MT and Jeremy Osborne husband of Tara of Landisville, PA. Also surviving are five grandchildren: Brittany wife of Garrette, Kayla Moss, Hillary Piringer wife of Tyler, Kylie Osborne, Keira Osborne; five great-grandchildren, Kayden, Chayce, Lucy, Parker and Rylee; siblings, Cheryl Mizzone wife of Tom of Wayne, NJ, Claire Punda wife of Jeff of Cape May, NJ, Pete Osborne husband Stacy of GA and Jeff Osborne of Myrtle Beach, SC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Calvary Bible Church, 629 Union School Rd, Mount Joy, PA 17552, and everyone is asked to wear blue or orange for ALS awareness. Interment was held in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bill’s memory may be made to ALS United Mid-Atlantic, 1015 Virginia Dr, Suite 110, Fort Washington, PA 19034.
