William "Bill" G. Leutner, formerly of Holmes, PA and Middletown, DE, passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 93. Born in Ridley Park, PA, Bill was the son of the late Henry and Eva Leutner (née Cubbler) and the devoted husband of the late Barbara Leutner (née Chester) for nearly 70 years.
Bill grew up in Collingdale, PA and graduated from Collingdale High School. He furthered his education at Pennsylvania Military College before answering the call of duty as a member of the United States Navy during the Korean War. After serving his country, he began a successful career in commercial real estate, retiring from Penn Central Properties, where he made a lasting impact as a dedicated representative.
An avid outdoorsman and dedicated baseball coach, Bill was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan, a deeply devoted grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a true friend to everyone he met.
Bill is survived by his loving children: William J. Leutner, husband of Barbara E. of South Carolina, Gerard P. Leutner, husband of Joy of Texas, and Barbarann Rudy, wife of Joseph Rudy of Folsom, PA; grandchildren, Adam Leutner, Cody Leutner (husband of Jillian), Megan Horvath (wife of Andrew), John Leutner, Tyler Rudy (husband of Danielle), Timothy Rudy (husband of Gabriella) and Gabrielle Rudy, and 6 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Monday June 15, 2026 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E Delp Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601, from 10am to 11am with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11am. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's honor may be made to St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
