Wilda "Penny" Elaine Fisher

Wilda E. "Penny" Fisher, 81, of Marietta, passed away at Penn State Medical Center, Lancaster, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Amelia (Bleacher) Lefever. She was the loving wife of many years to Gerald L. Fisher.

Penny was a 1962 graduate of Conestoga Valley High School. She worked as a material handler for R.R. Donnelley until her retirement in 2006. Penny was an avid reader, who enjoyed novels. She loved tending to her flower garden, bird watching, particularly humming birds, cooking for her family and friends, and solving puzzles. Candy Crush was one of her favorite pastimes.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Paula Hynum and Donna Fisher, and granddaughter, Ruth. Penny was preceded in death by her siblings: Adeline Yarnall and Raymond Lefever.

A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held from 11:30AM to 2:30PM, Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Mount Calvary Church Ministry Center, 45 Veterans Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
