Waltraud Theresia Koder

Waltraud Theresia Koder, 91, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born in Duisberg, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Berta Raab Jager. She was a woman of Catholic Faith. In January of 1956, Waltraud boarded a boat to immigrate to America for a better life following the War. It is here where she found a position in housekeeping and provided a life for her three children and family who meant the world to her. She was a very selfless person, always concerned about other people. She was passionate about not only the care of her children but all children. She found a deep love in baking and cooking and later in life enjoyed long walks. She was strong-willed and determined to keep things neat and clean.

Surviving are three children; Owen Koder, Mark Koder, Thea (Koder) Sieber, as well as nine grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.

At Waltraud's request there will be no services. Those desiring may send memorial contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
